NBC has announced that they are going to pull the Heroes spin-off miniseries Heroes: Origins from it’s intended midseason launch. This may be due to the upcoming Hollywood writers strike, or it could be because the buzz and ratings for Heroes has dipped a bit recently.

NBC hasn’t officially killed the series, but those in the know are saying that it is dead.

This bums me out because I really wanted to see what fan favorites Kevin Smith and Eli Roth could do with the Heroes universe.
