Animation Magazine is reporting that Disney is very actively persuing the rights to broadcast George Lucas’ Clone Wars animated series that is currently in production. Disney is pressing to increase the presence of Star Wars themed attractions at it’s theme parks, with the possibility of turning a portion of Tomorrowland over to Lucas. Going after the broadcast rights of Clone Wars is an extension of this relationship.

Lucasfilms reps, however, have denied the stepped up talks with Disney rumor….but what did you expect.
